Addis Ababa, February 24, 2023 (FBC) – Djibouti’s Doraleh Multi-Purpose Port (DMP) inaugurated modern cargo handling facilities in attendance of Roba Megersa, CEO of Ethiopian shipping and logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE).
The purchase of new equipment is part of the activities being carried out by DMP to improve loading-unloading operations and the export-export process through the Djibouti port, it is stated on the occasion.
On the occasion Megersa Roba, CEO of ESLSE, said that the new facilities will have a paramount significance in enabling the imported cargoes to be swiftly unloaded from Vessels and be delivered to Ethiopia.
Among 9 multi-purpose cargo ships of ESLSE, Gibe, which arrived at the port on Thursday, became the first ship to receive services from the new port facility.
