Addis Ababa, February 15, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia-Türkiye Investment and Trade Promotion Forum held in Addis Ababa in participation of members of Turiksih business community, officials of Ethiopian Investment Commission and members of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association, among others.
The forum discussed ways how to foster trade and economic cooperation between Ethiopia and Türkiye.
Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Hana Arayaselassie, mentioned Türkiye as Ethiopia’s close investment partner. She briefed participants on opportunities in Ethiopia explain about the incentives the government has put in place in order to attract foreign investments.
In his remarks at the forum, Ambassador of Türkiye to Ethiopia, Berk Baran stated that the forum has a paramount significance in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Ethiopia and Türkiye in the areas of trade and economy.
